Communicating with the Membership:
Communications will be made using the Email distribution list, posting to our website and on our Facebook page. Communications include changes/updates due to weather and general club information.
Membership:
Required for Membership is a completed Membership Form, Participant Release/Hold Harmless Form, Image Release Agreement, Membership fees and proof of Date of Birth if not previously on record with the Rodeo Secretary.
Volunteer Obligation:
Each Family is required to volunteer for 3 entire rodeos. Not fulfilling a volunteer requirement will result in a loss of rodeo points for all competing family contestants for each missed obligation. This year’s volunteer sign-ups will be done through Sign-up Genius. A link will be posted on our website after our April General Membership Meeting.
Scheduled Meetings and Meeting Points:
Scheduled General Membership meeting attendance is not required. Scheduled meetings include the Annual Meeting to be held between September and December, April and May. Enrolled members attending and signing in at the April & May meetings will receive three (3) points for each attended meeting, applied toward year-end All-Around points.
Entries:
Entries and fees are due one week prior to the Rodeo in which the contestant plans to compete. Entries can be submitted to the Rodeo Office or mailed to the Entry Office PO Box listed on the Entry Form. Entries submitted or mailed after Tuesday’s Rodeo are subject to late fees.
Changes to events entered by contestant must be authorized by the Rodeo Secretary. Requests to change events must be made no later than Monday before 12:00 Noon and can be submitted by email at [email protected]. If changes are approved, any fees must be paid prior to the start of the Rodeo. Unused fees from approved changes will be applied to the rodeo entries is the same season.
Corrections to entered events must be communicated to the Venues in writing by the Rodeo Secretary. Contestants should verify the run sheets on the events entered prior to the beginning of the Rodeo and report any errors to the Rodeo Office.
To roll entries, requests must be submitted no later than Monday before 12:00 Noon. If you are entered and do not request the entries to be rolled before the deadline, the entries will be forfeited, and you must re-enter for the next rodeo by the required timeline. Only a doctor/vet excuse will be accepted to draw out after the cut off time.
If a contestant or animal gets injured during the rodeo, events after the accident can be rolled to the next rodeo. This request must be made by the contestant to the Rodeo Secretary before their next event begins.
Sponsorship Credit:
This year, LBYA is rewarding its members for obtaining sponsorships! If you bring in sponsorships of $200 or more, you will receive 10% of that amount as a credit on the current season’s rodeo fees! If you get $1000 in sponsorships, you get a $100 credit towards your entry fees.

- Contestants should check the run sheets to ensure their entries were processed correctly. See the Rodeo Secretary for needed changes.
- The Outdoor/Stock Events take precedence other events, however if you are more than 6 contestants away from your run, alert the crows nest/gate person and then go to complete your run in the other venue.
